I manage to get my hands on the new iPad at an Apple authorized retail store on the 2nd day of sale. Quite easily, in fact. Well, the situation was not as crazy as when the iPad 2 was released last year. There was actually no queue at the store which I went. This is a far cry from the ultra long queue during the iPad 2 release. On the 2nd day of the iPad 2 sales, most of the iPad 2 has been sold off. Apparently, this is not the case for the new iPad.
Still, the 4G LTE version of the new iPad is a hot item. I am lucky enough to get the last piece of the new iPad 4G LTE version in the store. The guy behind me was not so lucky and happy as well. He’ll have to wait for another 2 to 3 weeks time to get the new iPad. Too bad for him. :p
